Children's Ministries

The children of our church are our most precious asset and our future! Throughout the year, we have several events for our youth of all ages. We coordinate weekly Junior Church, Children's Choir, Vacation Bible School each summer, a Back to School Party, Halloween Party, Hanging of the Greens, etc. In addition, our sister church, Allemansville UMC, organizes a robust Sunday School each week! Junior Church

In 2009, our church began a new ministry to engage children in our church. During the worship service each week, the children may choose to participate in "Junior Church". The children have the opportunity to learn bible stories, make crafts, and have snacks while parents participate in the adult sermon! Children may then return to the regular worship service for prayers, singing, etc.

Last Blast - Back to School Party (August 2009)

Our second annual "Last Blast" took place on August 8th in conjunction with the re-opening of the Ramey Shoe Bank. All that attended received bags full of school supplies, ate snacks, and took part in activities. Children from all over the area attended - we hope this event can become bigger each year!

Vacation Bible School (July 2009)

This year, our children enjoyed "Son Rock Kids Camp" while learning about choosing to serve God! Our attendees learned songs, participated in bible study, created crafts, played games, and enjoyed skits by our local Girl Scout Troop.
